You’ve decided that you’re going to seek a natural solution for erectile dysfunction. The good news is that many techniques, herbal remedies and other non-pharmaceutical products can be used to get the desired results.
Exercises have long been gaining popularity. They’re simple, easy to do, inexpensive and suitable for just about every man. Can exercises, however, deliver satisfactory results in the case of a serious problem like ED?
The answer depends on the type of exercise and the commitment of the exerciser.
If you’re looking for a way to overcome ED naturally, here are some of the best exercises that you should give a try to.
Kegel Exercises
These exercises are designed to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and as such, they’re particularly beneficial for both men and women. Strengthening the pelvic floor can have incredibly positive effects on overall sexual health.
Doing kegel exercises is incredibly simple. The pelvic floor muscles are the ones that stop the urine stream when squeezed. All that you have to do is contract the muscles, hold the contraction, release and repeat.
Pelvic floor exercises can be done at home, in the office and while you’re commuting – nobody will know what you’re doing. Doing 10 to 20 repetitions per day will be sufficient to see improvements.
UK researchers from University of the West decided to test just how effective kegel exercises are for the treatment of ED. They worked with men suffering from some form of erectile dysfunction.
The participants were 55 and were asked to either change their lifestyle or do kegel exercises during the course of the experiment.
After six months on the program, 40 percent of the men doing kegel exercises had regained normal erectile function. Nearly 35.5 percent of the men had also seen significant improvement. Members of the control group didn’t experience such overwhelmingly positive results.
To get even better results, consider combining kegel exercises with traditional aerobic workouts. Strengthening other muscle groups could increase the effectiveness of kegel exercises, help you lose weight and deliver even better sexual health results.

Jelqing
This is another incredibly simple and safe exercise option that can lead to significant improvements.
Jelqing is performed on a semi-erect penis. “Milking” movements are used, starting with OK grip at the base of the penis and moving the hand outward and away from the body.
Stop at the tip, hold for a couple of seconds and repeat. Doing about 10 minutes of jelqing per day is great for improving the erectile response, plus it can contribute to penis enlargement.
Even better results can be obtained when jelqing is combined with the use of a penis pump or a herbal supplement.
Stretching
Here’s one final option that is as simple and as effective, as the other two. Stretching is another basic exercise that is mainly used by men interested in penis enlargement.
Since it improves circulation and allows more blood to enter the penis, however, stretching is also beneficial for reducing the severity of ED.
The basic penis stretch is so simple that the exercise is recommended for beginners. You may give it a try before moving on to something more advanced like kegel exercises.
To do stretching, the penis will need to be completely flaccid. Grip the penis gently behind the head and stretch downward. Hold the stretch for 30 seconds, release and repeat.
You can vary the exercise by stretching straight out, to the left and to the right.
Stretching should never be painful. If you experience aches or discomfort, you’re not doing it right. Stop, adjust your technique and try again.
Be patient with exercises. Since these are natural techniques, they’re not going to deliver immediate results. Dedicating a couple of months to doing the exercise routine meticulously, however, can enable you to see serious improvements in the erectile response.
